Got some spare time? Want to put your brain to work for YSA? Want to know how you can contribute?

YSA Melbourne has two ongoing content generation projects that deliver high quality science content to the public, absolutely free of charge! Both the weekly blog and podcast require continuous contributions from our volunteers. You don’t have to be Einstein to get involved, just an interest in science, and a flair for telling the world about the things that you have a passion for. YSA Melbourne is proud to provide the Australian community with two unique platforms for budding scientists and engineers to try their hand at science communication; no experience necessary. Whether you’re in high-school, university, working, or just interested in science; we’d love for you to get involved.

We are currently looking for people to get involved in the following:

  • 200-500 word articles on the latest science news that has caught your fancy, or even a short piece that makes science topics accessible to the public, for Membrane, the YSA Weekly Science Blog. Contact our Editor at editor@melbourne.ysa.org.au
  • Presenters, guests and hosts for Lagrange Point, the YSA Weekly Podcast. Contact our Podcast manager, Justin Sorbello, at ipp@melbourne.ysa.org.au
