Information for Organisations

YSA stands for ‘The Young Scientists of Australia’. We are a not-for-profit organisation run by young Australians with a passion for science and communicating it, and strive to offer opportunities for youth to be involved in science related socials, science schools, and other opportunities to communicate science to the wider public.
We are open to all Australians, aged 14-26, and have Chapters in all major capital cities across Australia: including Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, and Perth. Sydney’s chapter was formed in 1991, and was one of the first in Australia.
We are run by a volunteer committee with positions open to all members of YSA and elections held at our Annual General Meeting.
